3. Raven Brings the Light

Behind the Neville Scarfe Bldg an intriguing mural alludes to a story about how a clever trickster brought light to the world.

4. Reconciliation Pole

The Reconciliation Pole represents the history of Indigenous people in Canada before, during, and after the Indian Residential School era.

5. Haida Looplex X Canoe

At 53 feet, the Haida Looplex X Canoe is larger than a full-grown humpback whale.

6. Tribute Pole

A cedar and copper pole stands as a symbol of collaboration, inclusiveness, and in tribute to a respected staff member.

7. Musqueam Post

The Musqueam Post, sʔi:ɬqəy̓ qeqən (double-headed serpent post), welcomes visitors to UBC.

8. Take Off

Unique sculptor mimics the abrupt flight path of a Mallard duck taking off from water.

9. Thunder

A hard-to-miss colourful, five-metre wood sculpture of a sun figure.
